Our goal is to improve quality of life for those struggling with mental illness. Our staff is bilingual in Spanish and English, we are honored to service our Hispanic community in the Tampa Bay Area. 

Chapter 1

Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders. A combination of medication and behavioral therapies is effective in the treatment of substance use disorders, and can help some people to sustain recovery.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.

Parent Teen Communication Course

The professionals and volunteers of My Next Chapter lead the parents and youth through a series of exercise  designed to break down communication barriers and allow the parent and youth to see each other as people in a non-confrontational environment. The purpose of the day is to help families remove barriers while building family communication and problem solving skills.
